It is not by chance that Ilha do Campeche, located in Florianópolis, is known by many as Brazilian Caribbean. The sea in shades of emerald, with calm and crystalline waters, adds to the fine and white sand to compose a paradisiacal scenery.

1.5 km from Praia do Campeche, the island is one of the most sought after destinations by those who go to Florianópolis.

In addition to the natural beauties, the island has historical and cultural treasures: cave paintings dating from 3,500 BC can be found all over the place.

Therefore, the Campeche Island was declared a National Archaeological and Landscape Heritage by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN).

As a conservation measure for the area, entry to the island is restricted to a maximum number of 770 people in low season and 800 in high season. And it is only possible to get there on one of the boats with a landing permit.

On Campeche Island, the main attraction, without a doubt, is Praia da Enseada.

With 500 meters in length, the paradisiacal stretch of sand is an incredible place to relax and enjoy the sea. At one of its ends, natural pools form between the rocks and allow for refreshing baths.

In addition, trails invite you to discover the nature of the island and observe the cave paintings.

The 21 islands that make up the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago are second to none in the Caribbean. It can even be compared to Los Roques, a beautiful archipelago in the Venezuelan Caribbean.

For starters, Fernando de Noronha has one of the best beaches in the world, Praia do Sancho. The golden sands, framed by colorful cliffs and bathed by a light blue sea, form a paradisiacal setting. In the water, the corals reveal a rich marine life that can be observed during a dive – a sport widely practiced on the island.

But this is just an example of what can be found in Fernando de Noronha. Once a prison, then a military strategic point and today one of the most desired tourist destinations, the archipelago has incredible places.

The beaches are certainly the main attractions of Fernando de Noronha. Among the main ones are Praia do Atalaia, Praia do Cachorro, Praia do Meio, Praia da Conceição, Baía dos Porcos, Baía dos Golfinhos, Praia do Porto, Baía do Sueste and Praia do Leão.

The island also has several trails that reveal incredible landscapes and run through the uninhabited side of the archipelago.

Another unmissable tour in the archipelago is the visit to the National Marine Park of Fernando de Noronha. In addition to observing the nature of the region, it is possible to enjoy stunning natural pools.

Finally, Praia dos Meros impresses with the white color of the sand that contrasts with the green of the sea and the forest that surrounds it.
