Created by a native of Ceará, the Beach Park has been around for over 30 years and is considered the largest water park in South America and the 5th best in the world, elected by TripAdvisor. In the “amusement parks” category, the Beach Park also stands out among the best and not for less. The entire complex has been adapting over the years and there are always new attractions in the Park that grows more and more.
The dream that started with just a simple restaurant on the beach of Porto das Dunas, in Aquiraz, in the interior of Ceará 25 km from Strength, is today an empire, considered one of the main attractions of the state. THE Beach Park receives an average of 1.5 million visitors per year, being known and desired worldwide.
The innovative proposal brought a water park bordering a sea of enviable green tones. There was no shortage of bathing options on this part of the coast of Ceará, but the idea that seemed unusual worked and that new local attraction fell in people's taste and gained more and more admirers.
The complex is really big and the attractions are really amazing, like the free fall in the “Insano” – one of the most challenging and feared rides in the Park – in a 41-meter high drop, equivalent to a 14-story building, the The visitor climbs a few good flights of stairs to the top of the ride, the highest point in the Park, and then can get ready to descend the free fall in a few seconds. The view is indescribable and the descent is a challenge for the brave few.
Several other attractions guarantee the fun of the less audacious, with toboggans of different heights and routes, with individual, double, trio or quartet descents. In addition to these more radical, moderate level options and others perfect for relaxing with the family, such as the wave pool, enchanted stream, treasure island, among other toys. Ideal for all types of visitors, regardless of their age, you will certainly be a child again with every toy you meet.
Dozens of kiosks spread throughout the Park with goodies that every child loves and a main restaurant offers a rich buffet with some varieties of preparations with seafood and typical Northeastern dishes. The Park also offers accommodation in four resorts that are connected to the complex. All following a high standard, with leisure facilities and their own restaurants in each of them, divided into four developments: Oceani, Acqua, Suites and Wellness.
The Park is really big, but to avoid queues and overcrowding at the rides, and thus be able to enjoy each of the attractions even more, choose to visit the park during weekdays, leaving Saturday and Sunday to explore other points of Aquiraz, Strength and surroundings.
