Although the thermometers in the city vary between -2ºC and 18ºC, this is the season with the most activities to enjoy in the city, especially those involving snow. Although the presence of snow is rare in Santiago, it is possible to enjoy the ice in places very close to the capital, especially the icy mountains that are home to several ski resorts. Finally, another station that can be visited during the winter in Santiago is La Parva, 38 kilometers from the Chilean capital, which has 40 extreme slopes, in addition to classes for beginners.
