After being closed by the coronavirus, Keukenhof, in the Netherlands, considered the largest tulip garden in the world, offers an online tour
THE spring in europe it's really impressive. However, in Holland, the most colorful season of all is celebrated every year with a very special event: the most famous tulip garden in the world, the Keukenhof.
In 2020, the Keukenhof Gardens season would start on 03/21, bringing together no less than 7 million bulbs planted manually by volunteers. THE colorful scenery, formed by an impressive carpet of tulips, occupies an area of approximately 32 impressive hectares.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic around the world, the event was canceled – at least live. As a way of not giving up so much effort, since intense work was carried out by several professionals in the months leading up to spring, the organizers decided to provide an online tour of the gardens.
sunder the motto “If people cannot come to Keukenhof, we will take Keukenhof to the people”, it is possible to visit the beautiful tulip fields without leaving your home. In addition to beautiful images, the experience includes an explanation by gardeners or other professionals who present every detail of the park's beauties.
