A source of pride for many Aracajuans, the Watchtower shore integrates with the natural beauties of the extensive strip of sand that separates the city from the ocean

Recently revitalized, the seaside was planned to offer different leisure options to residents and visitors who choose the charms of Aracaju as destination.

Access in some parts of the shore, but precisely in the Passarela do Caranguejo, is done on charming wooden platforms covered by the shadows of coconut trees spread in a shallow vegetation that borders the beginning of the beach.

Bike paths and a wide boardwalk full of attractions allow delicious walks to contemplate the beauties of the capital in pleasant moments with family or friends.

What to do

The little ones will love the Children's City, a space in edge with children's play areas, playgrounds full of toys, playground and velodrome. Tennis courts, lakes, equipment to perform physical exercises, skating rink, skate park, karting track and the first oceanarium in the northeast complete some of the entertainment options offered by edge.

At night, restaurants specializing in different cuisines attract tourists, typical dishes based on crab and other seafood are the most requested. Small kiosks are also scattered along the waterfront. It is worth taking a break from walking and enjoying the amount of coconut water or caipirinha served in the ventures.

During the walk, the best option is a break to drink some very cold coconut water and closely follow the daily life of the Aracajuans.

Handicrafts can be purchased at Rua do Turista or at Passarela do Artesão next to the light source, open every day at night. At the fair, very diversified products are popular with visitors, clothes, lace, dolls, jewelry, shoes and bags are some of the pieces exhibited by local artisans.

Bringing all the convenience to tourists staying in the region, the beach is surrounded by excellent developments. hotels, inns, conveniences, shops, restaurants and bars that liven up the beach.
