Canela and Gramado are the Most Popular Cities in Serra Gaúcha, especially during winter, as they offer attractions to all cities. And the best thing is that they are neighbors and some tours pass through both cities, as is the case of the Bus Tour, a hop-on style bus that makes stops at the most famous tourist spots in the region. And the iconic Maria Fumaça tour, which guarantees a trip back in time, washed down with cheeses and wines. The aerial cable cars are also a sensation, as they provide a privileged view, from above, of the entire charming landscape. For those traveling with family, the two cities are a plate full of fun, with theme parks and fun museums.
For food lovers, colonial cafes, which are true feasts, cannot be left out of the list.
Nova Petrópolis is known as the garden of Serra Gaúcha and also for bringing a piece of Germany to Rio Grande do Sul. It is full of gardens and a lot of tradition, such as Praça das Flores, which enchants visitors with its look and concentrates the main attractions of the region, such as Rua Coberta, which has handicraft shops and the Green Labirinto, which is formed by cypress trees that create paths that form a veritable labyrinth.
One way to get to know the German tradition of the place is to visit the Parque Aldeia do Imigrante, which has typically German buildings, handicraft shops and many colonial delights, in addition to being surrounded by nature.
Valley of the Vineyards
For those who like wine, the Vale dos Vinhedos circuit is a mandatory stop in Brazil.
Starting with Bento Gonçalves, the main wine region in Brazil and where the best known and most awarded Brazilian wines come from. Its landscape, made up of mountains and vines, is the perfect setting for a romantic trip. The tip is, be sure to take a tour of the wineries, there you will find Miolo, Casa Valduga, Cooperativa Vinícola Aurora and Salton. Unmissable!

There are several guided tours in the region, which explain the entire production of the drink and its particularities. And of course, a tour of the historic center of each is as important as enjoying the sparkling wines, as they are home to beautiful 20th-century buildings.
