Gol announced the cancellation of all its international operations until mid-June
THE Goal announced today that starting March 23, all its flights abroad will be cancelled. The measure was taken to contain the spread of the coronavirus and, according to the company, to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
In addition, the decision aims to adapt to demand, as airlines around the world are suffering from a drop in the number of passengers due to closed borders around the world.
In addition to barring all flights abroad, the airline estimates that it will reduce its offer of flights on domestic routes by up to 60%. Between domestic and international flights, Gol should reduce its operations by up to 70%. Therefore, the decision, according to the airline, will be to maintain this scenario until mid-June.
