Amidst the savannah and with sustainable facilities, Pousada in Bahia is elected one of the best in the world by an American magazine
THE Trijunction Inn, located on the borders between Bahia, Minas Gerais and Goiás, was elected by the renowned North American publication Town & Country as one of the best in the world. In the select list, 60 luxury hotels around the world were chosen for their structure and different hosting options.
In the case of Pousada Trijunção, the only Brazilian on the list, the publication highlighted its rusticity and sustainability. In the midst of the Brazilian savannah, the accommodation was built using authentic materials from this biome. In addition, every inn was designed to generate little impact on the environment, using solar energy and demolition wood floors, for example.
To maintain exclusivity, the accommodation offers only seven charming suites. There is also, in the space, a restaurant with regional menus. During the stay, it is also possible to carry out a series of outdoor experiences, such as kayaking and a safari in the middle of the savannah.
The American magazine describes the pousada as “a farm in the depths of the Brazilian savannas. The 7 suites showcase the best of Brazilian design, with beautiful tapestries, a swimming pool and steam room and, conveniently, an airstrip for one-hour flights from Brasília.”
