island of Capri

THE island of Capri it is connected to the mainland by regular boat lines departing from Naples (40 to 80 minutes journey, depending on the boat). There is also the possibility to leave most cities in the amalfi coast, with routes between Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Salerno and Ischia.

When you disembark, more specifically at Marina Grande, you can choose to tour the region or venture out to sea again to discover the island's surroundings. The truth is that no trip to Capri can be completed without taking a little tour of the islet. This tour is known as “giro dell'isola” and takes the tourist to get to know the fantastic coast, rich in caves and coves. This tour takes you to the statue of Scugnizzo, Gruta do Cora, Gruta Branca, L'Arco Naturale, Villa Malaparte, the Faraglioni, the bay of Marina Piccola, Gruta Verde, Punta Carena Lighthouse and Gruta Azul.

When you disembark, be sure to stop by to see the fair, the port's shops and then enjoy lunch in the center. It is in Piazza Umberto I, better known as Piazetta, that the movement of Capri is concentrated. The best way to get to know this region is walking, because at every corner, a surprise or a beautiful image awaits you.

Located on the coast of Italy, Capri It is an extremely popular destination for travelers from all over the world, especially from April to October. Between the months of July and August, the place is full due to the European holidays.

Mount Solaro

The simplest way to get there is via the cable car that takes you to the top in 12 minutes, and departs from Piazza Vittoria de Anacapri. To reach the summit, take the bus from Capri and get off at the Anacapri stop which is a few meters from the cable car entrance and from there go up the stairs to the place. Monte Solaro is also called “Acchiappanuvole”, translating into Portuguese “pega-nuvens”. This is because, at dawn, a curtain of steam forms on the hill in the shape of a crown of clouds, leaving the place with a mysterious and unique air. To get down, you can choose to return by cable car or walk, passing two other amazing attractions along the way.

Anacapri

The second largest city on the island, Anacapri has a very interesting center that deserves a leisurely stroll through the flowery alleys and beautiful squares. Take the opportunity to visit the Casa Rossa “Red House” and the Church of San Michele.

amalfi coast

Located south of Italy, a amalfi coast is the dream of consumption, let's say, of many tourists who travel to Italy. Especially for those looking for a romantic destination with breathtaking landscapes, blue sea, colorful houses and many mountains that make up the scenery of the place.

To give you an idea, the road that runs between Sorrento and Salerno and crosses the entire Amalfi Coast is very narrow and was built on a gigantic precipice that borders the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean. Along it, between one view and the other, there are historic cities such as Amalfi (on the seashore) and Ravello (on the top of the mountain), villages that at first glance seem to have come out of a picture of such beauty. Another village with cinematographic settings and very popular with tourists and Italians is the magical Positano, a romantic destination that has already served as the setting for some films, such as Under the Tuscan Sun and Only You.

The best time to visit all these places is between June and September. During this period, the days are longer, hotter and outside the European holidays, which guarantees less movement in the city, being the best way to enjoy it.

sorrento

Considered one of the largest cities in the amalfi coast and the one with the busiest nightlife, the city, like all of the region, has many ups and downs surrounded by restaurants and pubs. Spending a morning at Peters Beach lying on the sun loungers in front of the sea is essential for anyone passing through the region.

Ravello

Located at one of the highest points of the amalfi coast, the city is one of the most attractive points in the region. In addition to offering stunning views of the Italian coast, Ravello is home to a church built in the late 11th century.

amalfi

A very important port city in the Mediterranean, it is also one of the most famous on the coast. In the central region there is a square full of attractions and one of the most visited places in the region is the Duomo di San't Andrea church.
