Italian project to revive tourism in the country intends to pay part of the value of accommodation and tickets for tourists

Italy is one of the countries most affected by Covid-19, which to date has recorded more than 200,000 cases. And one of the country's main concerns is tourism, so they are looking for ways to effectively reactivate it.

The idea is to pay a percentage of the airfare and part of the accommodation for travelers who decided to travel to the country on vacation. Before the pandemic, Italy was one of the most visited places in the world, but after the isolation, the destination went into economic decline, where they don't know how they will get out of it in terms of tourism.

It is worth remembering that the government will not pay for the entire trip. Italy will pay half the price of the plane ticket and a third of the hotel bill. Adding to that a coupon for an extra night for every two paid nights at a local hotel.

Despite the information released by the government, as the new coronavirus pandemic is not yet over, and we still have no way of knowing when. There is no information yet on when this promotion will take effect. Italian authorities said that when it is safe to open the border, travelers who choose Italy will enjoy all these benefits.
