There is also the possibility of taking a sea taxi to João Fernandes. Boats depart from Praia da Armação and Praia dos Ossos. To get there on foot, you need to take the main street in the center of Búzios (Av. Ribeiro Dantas) and continue walking along it, then Rua das Pedras and Orla Bardot, continuation of this main avenue. At the end of Praia de João Fernandes there is a small trail of approximately 250 meters that passes in front of the Hotel Colona, there you will see a stone staircase that will take you to the small and charming beach. The regulars of Joao Fernandinho they are usually tourists looking for a little more tranquility and privacy. Unlike João Fernandes, this small beach has only small tents with drinks and snacks. With good shade and well protected from northeast and east winds.
