Praia da Pipa: destination for holidays alone, with friends, on honeymoon, or with family, it can be in the Northeast with natural and even hidden attractions.

The city of Pipa is located in the district of Tibau do Sul, about 87 km south of Natal. It is a corner of different beaches with crystal clear waters, with options for surfing, hiking or just sunbathing on the sand. Thanks to its height, it is possible to have a view of photos of the forest or the sea.

Initially a fishing village, the place quickly gained fame thanks to its beaches, Lagoa Guaraíras, Baía dos Golfinhos, among other landscapes for forest reserves.

Therefore, most tours of the city can be done free of charge or for a fee, such as, for example, the speedboat ride in Baía dos Golfinhos, where it is possible to see them at certain times of the year, buggy or tricycle ride along the beaches. , visit the ecological sanctuary and the Mirante Sunset Bar, which, although hidden, has a view from inside a forest reserve to the beach and is a destination to admire the city's sunset.

Meals during the day may vary according to the traveller's choice. There are options for restaurants with typical local dishes, self service with varieties or restaurants with a la carte menu with dishes from local chefs.

The beaches and the city

The city's beaches are easily accessible and in a few minutes' walk it is possible to go from one beach to another. On the other hand, some parts of the coastline require the use of stairs to reach the beaches, due to the cliffs.

Unfortunately this geographical aspect can be an obstacle for some tourists, people with some kind of mobility impairment may face difficulties. But that doesn't stop you from getting to know the main beaches in the region, which are: Praia do Amor, Praia do Centro, Praia das Minas, Praia dos Golfinhos and Praia do Madeiro.

The main street of the city is built with many elements that refer to the architecture of cities in Greece, where the trendy restaurants are located.

Another tourist spot in the city is the Pipa viewpoint, which is located at the highest point of the city center, between the view of the beach and in the middle of the reforested Atlantic Forest. In addition to the view, the space has 2 stages with different live attractions every day, except Wednesday.

At Mirante de Pipa, the inn was built with 18 private chalets in contact with nature and access to 3 different beaches on foot.

The entire area of the inn is signposted with wooden signs. There is access via a small trail that leads to Praia do Amor, a destination chosen by artists and influencers in search of photos.
