If you are planning to travel to Gramado this end of the year, you cannot miss our tips on Christmas Light 2021 schedule. The 36th edition of the event will last 95 days and, in addition to the traditional shows, will bring unprecedented attractions and fully adapted to receive tourists safely.

THE Christmas Light of Gramado starts on the 28th of October and runs until the 30th of January 2022. The shows and shows will take place, mainly, in the ExpoGramado Events Center complex and in Lake Joaquina Rita Bier, but throughout the city of Serra Gaúcha it will be possible find beautiful decorations and places taken by the Christmas mood.

THE Christmas Luz 2021 in Gramado will have five main attractions: Nativitaten, Natalis – The Creation, The Great Christmas Parade, The First Miracle of the Baby Jesus and The Kingdom of Christmas. In addition, there will be other events around the city: Show do Acendimento, Rua das Renas, Vila de Natal, Tannenbaumfest, Christmas Tour, Noel's Race and Walk, Concurso Brilha Gramado and the Palácio dos Festivais stage.

All attractions and shows will have a reduced audience due to health protocols arising from the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, if you want to enjoy the best of Natal Luz de Gramado, it is good to plan your trip there in advance.

Check out, below, when and where to see the main shows, what the ticket prices are and what to expect from each of them. By the way, tickets are now on sale at official site of the event.

Nativitaten

Full of lights, lyrical singers and fireworks shows, Nativitaten is a traditional Christmas performance of Natal Luz in Gramado. The show features Christmas decorations and artists who seem to float on the waters of Lake Joaquina Rita Bier, while they tell about the creation of the world and its most memorable moments.

Tickets for Nativitaten cost from R$ 190 to R$ 250 for the grandstand, from R$ 210 to R$ 275 for the special grandstand, from R$ 320 to R$ 410 for the premium lounge sector and from R$ 190 to R$ 250 for the physically challenged specials (PNE).

Schedule: from October 30th to January 15th (exceptionally on November 1st there will also be the show)

Days of the week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Schedule: at 9 pm

Duration: approximately 1 hour

Local: Lake Joaquina Rita Bier

The First Miracle of Jesus

The show O Primeiro Milagre do Menino Jesus is an operetta performed by the Gramado Symphony Orchestra, with the participation of several international singers and the Vozes de Gramado choir.

During the show, the audience is taken on a journey based on the Reis Magos' journey following the Guide Star. Tickets have a one-time price of R$ 120 per person.

Schedule: November 26th to January 9th

Days of the week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

Schedule: at 7 pm

Duration: approximately 1 hour

Grand Christmas Parade – Celebrating Traditions

Another traditional presentation of Natal Luz de Gramado, the Great Christmas Parade is formed by thematic wings: Sacred, Christmas Celebrations, Sweet Ornaments and White. All are composed of Christmas characters, songs, dances and lots of lights. After all the wings have passed, the parade ends with the arrival of Santa Claus.

Tickets for the Great Christmas Parade cost from R$ 190 to R$ 250 for the grandstand, from R$ 320 to R$ 410 for the premium lounge sector and from R$ 190 to R$ 250 for people with special needs (PNE).

The Kingdom of Christmas

New for the 36th edition of Natal Luz in Gramado, Reino do Natal is an area of 3 thousand square meters with five Christmas-themed environments: Jardim do Reino, Vilarejo do Reino, Ateliê do Reino, Floresta do Reino and Vila Branca do Reino. It was designed to meet all sanitary protocols and the internal areas have an air renewal system and hygiene of the flow places.

Schedule: October 28th to January 30th

Days of the week: every day

Schedule: from 10 am to 8:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and from 10 am to 7:30 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Duration: approximately 1h10

Local: ExpoGramado Events Center Complex

Natalis – The Creation

The show Natalis – a Criação features laser projections on water screens – known as “water screen” -, synchronized fireworks and various artists, including singers, performers and dancers, who perform to the sound of Christmas carols. This year, the presentation will be narrated by Cid Moreira.

Tickets for the Natalis – a Criação show cost R$ 150 for the grandstand and people with special needs (PNE), R$ 175 for the special grandstand and R$ 280 for the premium lounge sector.

Schedule: from October 31 to January 16 (especially in December, the show will be held on 12/20 and 12/27)

Days of the week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

Schedule: at 8 pm

Duration: approximately 45 minutes

Local: Lake Joaquina Rita Bier

Lighting Show

Natal Luz 2021 will have an even more special Lighting Show, with projection technology mapped onto the facades of five buildings in downtown Gramado. Everything takes place to the sound of a soundtrack that promises to give a lot of emotion when the lights turn on. The daily show is free.

Vila de Natal is a Christmas craft fair specially decorated and animated, throughout the days, by the Christmas Troupe and the visits of Santa Claus. Entrance is free.

Schedule: October 28th to January 30th

Days of the week: every day

Schedule: from 10 am to 10 pm

Duration: Santa Claus will serve the children from 2 pm to 6 pm

Local: Praça das Etnias, next to the city's bus station.
