Residents across the United States have been decorating their homes with Christmas lights to spread hope and positivity during quarantine.

In times of quarantine due to the spread of coronavirus in the world, any motivation that brings a little hope and positivity is worth a lot. With that in mind, residents of different regions of the U.S have decorated their homes with Christmas lights.

The idea is spreading and gaining more and more adherents. On social media, people are sharing photos of their illuminated homes along with messages of hope. “Sound on. Lights on. Lifted hearts. We had our first confirmed case of coronavirus in Cheatham County, Tennessee today. Our answer is to light up everything and stay home! Have a happy quarantine,” wrote American Brends Sparks.

Christmas lights: a lighter quarantine 

THE Metro newspaper published an article about early Christmas in the USA. “As Covid-19 spreads rapidly across the country, forcing schools, restaurants and businesses to close, some people have started sprucing up their homes with Christmas lights in an attempt to lighten the mood,” the publication reads.
