How to get to Porto de Galinhas
The Internal Airport of Recife/ Guararapes – Gilberto Freyre is one of the most modern in Brazil and receives daily flights from the main Brazilian capitals.
Leaving the Recife airport, access is via the BR-101 to the PE-060 towards Ipojuca. From Ipojuca, take the PE-038 to Nossa Senhora do Ó and then the BR-009, which goes to the center of Porto de Galinhas.
Buses to Porto de Galinhas leave from in front of Recife International Airport, at the point between the parking lot and also from the TIP (bus station) at various times.
Best time to visit Porto de Galinhas
There are hot days all year round and temperatures are always between 27ºC and 30ºC. To enjoy the natural pools, the ideal is to follow the tide table (opt for low tide).
The beginning of summer gives rise to high season in the destination, synonymous with high prices, full inns and crowded beaches.
