Located in the beautiful Riviera Maya, the city of Tulum is one of the great highlights of the Mexican Caribbean.

Abandoned in 1598, the destination was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Mayan civilization. The name Tulum means barrier, and was given due to the great wall that protects the archaeological site. Legend has it that the place was strategically built against possible invaders, the most emblematic structure of the city is the El Castilho pyramid, the place stands out for its grand staircase, in addition to being the place where the Mayans made sacrifices in offering to their gods. Mayan Beach

The beach is in front of the Tulum ruins, a great way to refresh yourself after a guided tour of the destination's historic site.

Playa Paraíso

Enjoy the high climate of the Mexican peninsula and enjoy the beauties of the destination's most famous beach. The scenery is composed of everything you are looking for in a trip to the Caribbean, extremely blue waters complemented by some coconut trees strategically distributed, by sun loungers on the sand.

Sian Ka'an

Tulum is home to an extensive bio-reserve called the Sian Ka'an and has all sorts of things you can imagine doing and exploring: bird watching, kayaking, hiking, diving, archaeological sites, floating and more.

Xel-Ha Park

One of the parks of the Experiencias Xcaret group in Cancún, at Xel-Há, visitors can perform various water activities such as snorkeling, floating in the river, among others. The park is located in a beautiful natural bay with crystal clear water.

El Castillo Pyramid

The El Castillo pyramid was a sacred place for the Mayans, where sacrifices were made in offering to the gods.

Coba ruins

The pre-Columbian Maya city is 44 km from Tulum, the Nohuch Mul pyramid is one of the highlights of the tour, with 42 meters high, it is the tallest Mayan construction in northern Yucatan and has a wonderful panoramic view of the area surrounded by a lot of kills.


The region is surrounded by several cenotes that are natural wells resulting from geological formations derived from erosion of land close to the sea, or from water tables. The best known are Ik-Kil, Sac Actun, Cenote dos Ojos, Dzitnup and Gran Cenote.

The closest airport to Tulum is Cancun (CUN). To go from Brazil to Cancun, you can fly on the following airlines: TAM – direct flights from São Paulo;

aeromexico – departing from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with a connection in Mexico City;

Copa Airlines – departing from São Paulo, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Recife, Porto Alegre, BH and Manaus, connecting in Panama City.
