Two puppies who live in an adoption NGO were able to visit an aquarium closed due to the quarantine in the USA

It is common knowledge that humans should avoid leaving their homes to protect from coronavirus. However, that doesn't mean dogs, who are immune to the disease, can't have fun. That's what happened to a pair of puppies living in a shelter in the United States. They had the opportunity to take a special tour of the Georgia Aquarium, in Atlanta.

Closed by the quarantine due to the pandemic in the country, the space opened its doors to give a special day to these two puppies in partnership with the NGO Human Society, which takes care of abandoned animals. Everything was recorded and posted on Twitter, in a video showing how this special excursion went.

The action was very similar to that of the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, which allowed penguins explore where they live last week. So, fromand according to an article published in the Insider newspaper, the two dogs, Odie and Carmel, seemed very curious about all the sea creatures they met during their visit. The two visited rays, sharks and many colorful fish.

Currently, the Georgia Aquarium remains closed to the public, but its staff are there to care for the animals. According to space reps, spending time outside the shelter can be great for training puppies for new situations, according to a spokesperson for the Atlanta Humane Society to Insider. “It's important to keep the animals engaged and stimulated,” they said. In addition, they emphasized that this action is a way to bring joy to people who are at home.
