Once-ordinary activities, such as dining at a restaurant, can become totally different after the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, many establishments are already looking for solutions to get back up and running.
Some ideas are quite unusual, such as a restaurant in Amsterdam, which built mini greenhouses so that its customers can have a meal while maintaining the social distancing recommendation.
The restaurant Mediamatic Eten, whose focus is vegan meals, dubbed the venues as “serres séparées” or “separate greenhouses”. The structure, produced with glass, offers a beautiful view of the Amstel River and can accommodate up to two people. The idea is to serve people who already live together to avoid contagion.

In addition to the stoves, the waiters will also wear face shields and serve the dishes on a wooden board, to avoid direct contact with customers. According to the website Lonely Planet, the restaurant is still awaiting permission from the local authorities to start operating. However, reservations have been opened and are already sold out by June.
