By The Bodega do Sertão restaurant, in Maceió, specializes in Northeastern food and has a themed space near the edge of the Alagoas capital.
With mud walls, loveseats adorning the windows and a themed space in the shape of a gigantic coffee pot, the restaurant Bodega do Sertão provides the sensation of being in the northeastern hinterland in the middle of Maceió. The northeast climate increases to the sound of forró pé de serra and with dishes totally influenced by the typical gastronomy of the region.
The restaurant offers a buffet with several options of salads, dishes divided between meat, fish and chicken, highlighting the Pantim – cubes of cassava and beef jerky with curd cheese sauce – and the Carne de Sol Valente and very tasty desserts. Tasty dishes such as carne de sol with cream, melted coalho cheese rice, stewed lamb, baião de dois, sarapatel, cassava, mungunzá are the most popular. On Sundays, Bodega do Sertão also offers a typical Northeastern breakfast, a must!
At the entrance, be sure to check out the handicrafts, sweets and varied Northeastern cachaças in a warehouse where visitors can buy souvenirs and souvenirs, reinforcing this experience even more.
