Located in the southeastern region of Brazil, the state of Holy Spirit it borders the states of Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. The state's beaches form one of the most beautiful regions in Brazil. There are more than 400 km of coastline with many coves and bays protected by rocks.
The coast is basically divided into three parts: the central region, where the cities of Vitória and Vila Velha are located; the south coast region, where the cities of Guarapari and Anchieta are located; and the north coast region, which is highlighted by the beauty of Linhares and Conceição da Barra.
Victory, is one of the three capital islands of Brazil, being also one of the oldest cities in the country. Founded in 1551, the city still preserves several patrimonies of the time, such as the Anchieta Palace, the Church of São Gonçalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Convent of São Francisco and the Carlos Gomes Theater, inspired by the Scala in Milan.
The climate, together with the natural beauties and cultural traditions of European immigrants, make up a diversity that draws attention and makes the Serrana do Holy Spirit a major tourist hub in the state. Cities such as Domingos Martins, Marechal Floriano, Venda Nova do Imigrante and Alfredo Chaves are among the favorites of the visitors.
Preserved forests cut by trails, rivers, lakes and waterfalls are scattered throughout the state to the delight of ecotourism fans. The Caparaó National Park, an Atlantic Forest preservation area, is home to the Pico da Bandeira, which is 2892 meters high (the third highest in the country).
