Known as the Brazilian Caribbean for its incredibly clear coastline, Arraial do Cabo has been winning the hearts of Brazilian and foreign tourists and is just 164 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Arraial do Cabo was once an old fishing village and to this day it preserves this peaceful atmosphere. The city has approximately 30 thousand inhabitants and its inhabited area is relatively small. In just one day in the city it is possible to visit most of the attractions on the unmissable boat trips that leave from the marina located at Praia dos Anjos, but this factor should not be taken into account. The beaches of Arraial are among the most beautiful in the country, and a quick visit can turn into a big disappointment due to lack of time at each attraction.

Located in the trendy region of Lagos, the city of Cable camp brings together several attractions that every traveler is looking for: paradisiacal beaches with clear waters, lagoons, dunes and viewpoints that offer the opportunity to see all the beauty of the region.

Farol Beach

Farol beach is located on Cabo Frio Island, also known as Farol Island. To visit Ilha do Farol you need a permit from the Instituto de Estudos do Mar Almirante Paulo Moreira and a rented boat. This is due to the creation, in 1997, of the Arraial do Cabo Extractive Reserve. Praia do Farol is a paradise and is considered one of the most perfect in Brazil.

Pontal beach

Prainhas has 300 meters of white sand and does not have any structure such as restaurants and bars, just a few street vendors. Access can be made by car to the beginning of the steps that take the tourist to the beach, on foot or on excursion boats that depart daily from the city's port. The scenery is even more beautiful with the immense Ilha do Farol covering the horizon with the beautiful Praia do Farol.

Forno Beach

Just 1.5 km from the center, the Forno Beach can only be accessed by boat or trail (a great option to enjoy the view of the beach through the rock wall next to the beach). Its 500 meters long with white sands and transparent waters make for great photos.

The climate in Arraial do Cabo is pleasant throughout the year, with little variation in temperature. Even the rainiest months (December and January) are usually hot and the rains don't usually last long. The months of July and August are usually the driest and the city receives strong winds.

If you value tranquility, avoid the period from Christmas to Holy Week. At this time Arraial receives a very large number of tourists. The beaches get very crowded and the lines at restaurants and markets are constant and normal.
