Train connecting Luz Station to Guarulhos airport now has 20 daily departures
The train line that connects the Luz stations, in São Paulo, to the Guarulhos airport started operating 20 daily departures from December 1st, including weekends and holidays.
Transport prices also dropped to R$ 4.40 each way, the same value as the public transport fare in the capital (the previous price was R$ 8.60). The first train departs both from Luz and Guarulhos at 5 am and the last one at midnight, frequently every full hour.
Luz Station is connected to subway lines 1 (Blue) and 4 (Yellow); and also to lines 7 (Rubi) and 11 (Coral) of CPTM.
Guarulhos Airport station is just 500 meters from Terminal 1, where Azul flights depart. If you are not traveling with a heavy suitcase, you can even walk. Most people prefer, however, the free bus that leaves from the station door and stops at terminals 1, 2 and 3 – it runs every 15 minutes from 4:00 am to 12:00 am (on Saturdays until 1:00 am).
