With strict protocols, photos reveal how destinations around the world are resuming for post-pandemic travel
What will my next vacation look like? When will I be able to travel again? What will post-pandemic travel look like? Questions about the new normal come in droves. With tourist destinations being reopened and the easing of confinement in different cities around the world, we separate some photographs that show the safety and health reinforcement protocols applied by tourism companies that are already starting the processes of deflation.
Some air routes are being resumed, along with the reopening of borders in different countries where the pandemic has become a little more stable. The ban on foreigners coming from countries where they present high risk is still being very limited, as in the case of Brazil, the United States and Russia.
The most common questions at the moment raise doubts about when we will be able to travel abroad, in addition to pique our curiosity to know how destinations and travel companies are preparing for the sector's recovery.
Recently, the largest airline in the United Arab Emirates, Emirates, proposed to bear the costs of customers who require to be quarantined after arriving in any of the destinations where the company operates. The company also offers free medical assistance for cases of Covid-19, with the aim of ensuring greater safety for passengers.
In Brazil, the network GJP Hotels & Resort, developed a partnership with the Sírio-Libanês hospital, one of the largest health references in Brazil, to align biosafety and hygiene protocols, following hospital standards and which were applied in all units of the network through its own protocol.
LATAM Airlines returned to operate flights to Portugal and reactivated the network to several other countries, but requires passengers to present a negative test before boarding, done up to 72 hours before the time of arrival at the destination. All conditions can be found on the page Access Restrictions, published on the company's official website.
In Uruguay, even with authorization for entry being only for residents and natives, until the date of publication of this article, a period of 14 days of quarantine is still required for those arriving from abroad. Only foreigners who are not residents, but have temporary entry due to work and economic activities, can enter the country.
For the bars, entertainment and outdoor activities sector, the changes are also surprising. Restaurants in Amsterdam opt for robots to serve tables, some other companies have opted for online menus, through the website or apps. Teddy bears occupying tables, to maintain social distancing between customers and more.
Curious about what the new normal will look like? The future of tourism is already present in many places around the world. See these changes in photos and get ready to take a vacation, once the confinement is over, and see the new normal in post-pandemic travel.
