Mato Grosso is the only Brazilian state that has three different biomes in its territory: Amazon, Cerrado and Pantanal. Seeing it up close is a privilege, which makes the destination so coveted by adventurers and nature lovers.

There are more than 140 municipalities that hold true gems of unparalleled diversity, as well as the local cuisine, which makes anyone passionate about fish and other regional delicacies, which are exclusive.

The capital Cuiabá, despite being the starting point for the main tourist attractions in the state, is suitable for those who prefer itineraries linked to culture and history, and of course, urban life, as it is full of museums, churches, buildings from the colonial period. and restaurants. Handicrafts are also very present, which is why Casa do Artesão is one of the most famous tourist attractions, as well as being a lovely walk. 

A little further from the capital, just 64 km away, is Chapada dos Guimarães, a national park with sandstone walls in shades of red and orange, caves, viewpoints and canyons. Amidst the tranquility of this place, there are several waterfalls, such as Véu de Noiva, to cool off and contemplate what nature has to offer. 

What many people do not know is that the Pantanal is located in Mato Grosso, 100 km from Cuiabá. It is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world and one of those mandatory experiences, to have at least once in a lifetime. It is perfect for animal watching, as the chances of finding alligators, birds, anteaters and even jaguars are very high. Not to mention that the scenarios are impressive, with a complete hotel infrastructure for those looking for a little more comfort, or camping, in the midst of wild nature for a complete disconnection. 

The fun for adrenaline junkies doesn't end there, another famous destination in the state is Nobres, much sought after by people who want to float in crystal-clear rivers, fish watching, zip lines and much more. The city of Jacira also offers similar attractions, highlighting the Cachoeira da Fumaça Thermas and its 30-meter high drop, ideal for rafting and rappelling. 

If you're tired, rest, because there's more. Mato Grosso really is the mecca of ecotourism, with an exuberant nature and a very special geography. Did you know that there is even a mountain range in the state? Serra do Roncador is another experience that cannot be left out, it is 800 km long, whose altitude can reach 700 meters, starting in Vale dos Sonhos and extending almost to Serra do Cachimbo, in Pará. The grandeur amazes, but conquers all visitors, who still have the opportunity to discover immense rock formations, waterfalls and caves.
