The municipality of Conceição do Mato Dentro, in the state of Minas Gerais, is a meeting point for tourists who want to enjoy beautiful landscapes surrounded by well-preserved nature and seek to be impressed by wild scenarios formed by canyons and waterfalls.

Within the Ribeirão do Campo Municipal Park, 18 km from Conceição do Mato Dentro, is the majestic Cachoeira do Tabuleiro, which stands out for being the highest waterfall in the state with 273 meters and the third largest in the country.

Its waters fall in the middle of a gigantic rocky wall of reddish tones towards a huge well with water in caramel tones, with points that reach up to 20 meters deep.

The Park is open to the public daily, from 7 am to 4 pm, but entry is only authorized in favorable weather conditions. A fee is charged for the maintenance of the space and the visitor can take three trails: the Mirante Trail, the Alto da Cachoeira Trail (above) and the Poço da Cachoeira Trail, below.

The attraction has a daily visitor limit of 200 tourists. Adventure sports activities, such as abseiling, climbing, slackline, base jumping, among others, are allowed with prior authorization and the technical capacity of the practitioner is checked.
