Despite being surrounded by beautiful natural attractions, the city of Cable camp can be well explored in just one weekend. Check out our tips make the most of your destination.
On the first day, look for a receptive agency around the city, or go straight to the port of Arraial de Cabo, where you can usually find several sellers of the tour of the city's beaches. The tours leave in the morning and depart directly to the beaches of Forno, Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia and Ilha do Farol, where the fascinating Praia do Farol is located, elected as one of the most beautiful in Brazil, all with stops for shower.
Then the boat continues the tour in the open sea, passing by the Crevice of Our Lady, Pedra do Gorila, a picturesque formation that resembles the shape of the animal. The last attraction is the Blue Grotto, which is named after the phenomenon of sunrise, when light invades the grotto and the reflection of the water transforms the colors of the stone wall.
In the late afternoon, the sunset can be enjoyed on the edge of Praia Grande. For those who have more energy, it is possible to take a short walk along the Pontal do Atalaia channel on the left side of the beach and enjoy the phenomenon from an imposing viewpoint in front of the sea.
The night can be enjoyed in the restaurants and bars near the edge of Praia Grande and Praça do Cova, which on weekends always offer live music.
On the second day we separated three itineraries options, the first is to take advantage of the excellent visibility of the region's coastline and go for a swim. Another option is to visit the other two beaches in the city that are busier but have not lost anything in terms of beauty: Prainha and Praia do Pontal.
For those who enjoy hiking and being more in touch with nature, it is possible to visit Pontal do Atalaia on foot. The trail starts on the left side of Praia Grande and you have the option of stopping at the wild Praia Brava or going around the whole point passing by Prainhas do Atalaia ending at Praia dos Anjos.
