Christmas villages are a great option for those who want to enjoy the magic of Christmas in a different place and with lots of magic in the air.
Christmas is a special time of year for many people. This is when some families get together to celebrate and celebrate the achievements of the past year. Inspired by European cities, three temporary Christmas villages arrived in São Paulo this holiday season. The new events bet on activities to please adults and children, and in a mix with Brazilian cultural references.

Christmas Villa São Paulo – Villa Lobos Park
THE Christmas Villa Sao Paulo is intended to bring back the good feelings that a lot of people lost with everything that happened in the last year. Using tree lights Christmas, solidarity actions, Christmas cuisine and a themed space that warms the heart, Villa enchants people of all ages.
The event started on Friday (10th) and will be held until January 6th at Parque Villa-Lobos, in São Paulo. The attractions are open from 10 am to 11 pm. To find out more, just go to schedule of the event. There are more or less 22 thousand m² of activations where visitors will have the chance to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.
There, you will be able to meet Santa Claus and also take a tour of his house, visit the largest Christmas tree in the city, with 65m, enjoy a special Christmas menu, help social actions and donations of food and toys, visit the entertainment, which even has ice skating, and to help local merchants by buying at the Christmas market that had these small entrepreneurs selling their products.
Christmas Light – Center of Northeastern Traditions
The Centro de Tradições Nordestinas, in the Limão district, known for preserving the traditions of the region in São Paulo, will not be left out of this party. But, of course, with the necessary adaptations, the Christmas light will present a Christmas tree made up of frevo umbrellas, the theme music is forró and the typical characters of the date invited the regulars to dance to Brazilian rhythms.
Christiane Abreu, president of the CTN, stated that the high point is at 6 pm, with the Christmas parade and the lights being turned on. She stressed that it is a Brazilian Christmas village, “It is inspired by Gramado, but with the special touch of CTN, respecting our roots”.
The Vila is open every weekend until December 26, from 11 am to 10 pm, and has free admission, with the exception of thematic theater performances, which are paid. The park for children and restaurants with traditional Northeastern cuisine will also be open.
Open to the public until the end of December, the event is located in Largo da Matriz, in Freguesia do Ó. The village was inaugurated on December 4th with a presentation of the procession “Christmas parade”, organized by the carnival artist Jorge Freitas, who brought together carnival and Christmas.
This is one of the Christmas villages that is made up of the traditional Santa Claus House, eight houses and a Christmas parade, with allegories reminiscent of the Carnival parades. The event's schedule runs until the end of the month, with two more parades on Saturdays, November 11 and 18, at 7 pm.
